Today, November the 10th, is Brittany Murphy’s birthday. It’s been almost six years since she left this earthly body and went to heaven. She was too beautiful, too talented and too pure for our world to fully appreciate. She was my favorite actress and my number 1 teenage crush. As a Christian, I don’t believe in the idea that humans become angels after dying because The Bible tells us that humans and angels are two different species, but if anyone could have been angelic in nature, that person would be Brittany Murphy.
We will never forget you, Britt. Your memory will shine bright, just like your adorable smile, in the hearts of millions of fans for as long as we will live. And someday, I hope to meet you in Heaven.
Happy Birthday, Brittany! May God bless you wherever you are.
If you’re reading this, you might be interested to find out that this is the first article I have ever written on a WordPress blog in my entire life. While I have been using the internet for a little over 10 years, I have never had an interest in having a personal blog ( except for Tumblr, which – in my opinion – is more of a social network than a blogging platform ). For the past 5 years, I have had a passion for internet forums, and I have owned a few general discussion forums myself, having used a variety of scripts, such as: phpBB, YaBB and InvisionPower Board. I have closed most of my online communities due to a combination of decrease in activity and personal life problems. I have also been a YouTuber ( vlogger and video content creator ) for a little over 3 years. But I might address those topics in another article.
The current article is about my debut in the world of blogging. I have chosen WordPress because it was the free option among the most popular blogging platforms nowadays and it seemed to be one of the most popular and reliable ones. Unlike forum software ( I’m looking at you, MyBB ), the world of blog software seems to be able to offer awesome features, beautiful themes and reliability for free. I’m not going to lie – WordPress’ Admin Panel can be rather confusing for a beginner. I have used forums’ admin panels for over 5 years, and I am pretty familiar to the overall look of the ‘backstage’ universe, so to speak, but I have had trouble finding my way around in the WordPress’ ACP, learning what the difference between pages and categories is, how to customize the appearance, use the plugins and publish the articles. But I’m discovering new things every day and, either through a trial-and-error method or by looking things up on Bing, I am gradually getting more and more familiar with this blogging platform.
I intend to write articles quite frequently, if not one every day, at least one every other day. What will I write about? Things that are relevant to my interests, events from my life, or just random ideas that come to mind. This is a personal blog which I want to use for sharing my thoughts with the online world. If you’ve come across this, please subscribe by entering your email address in the subscription field in the sidebar. It’s completely free and you will be notified about my latest articles. You won’t receive any spam and, if – for whatever reason – you no longer want to keep in touch with my blog, you can unsubscribe anytime you want.
Thank you for reading this. I hope you have a wonderful day.
